Northern Light safari by snowmobile 2,5 h
Would you like to experience the exotic light show on the sky, Aurora Borealis?
Our Northern Light Tour takes you far away from the lights in the village on a sleigh ride to the fells.
If the weather is fine, prognosis for weather and aurora are promising we’ll meet at the safari club and head with our guide over the fells.
We can’t guarantee that you’ll see aurora but also only the sleigh ride behind the snowmobile under the bright stars of Lappish sky is an unforgettable experience. And we don’t start if the forecast is not good enough.

• departure: at 8 PM (20:00)
• duration: 2-2,5 hours
• minimum: 4 adults
• 165 € / adult (single driving)
• 80 € / adult (sitting in sleigh)
• 62,50 € / child 10-12 yrs. (sitting in sleigh)
Attention: evening safari is not recommended for children (child should be at least 10 years old) and if accompanied, there must be an adult sitting in sleigh, too

• third party motor insurance: The driver of the snowmobile has to be at least 16 years of age with a valid driving licence (own liability max 900 € in accident)
Attention: pick up from the clients cabin/apartment/hotel is not included in the price - client should come 20 min before the start of the program to the Lapponia Tours safari office in address: Honkapolku 1
• northern Lights safari is not suitable for children
• prepaid safaris will not be refunded
• the driver of the snowmobile is held liable for damages caused to the vehicle
• snowmobiles are insured as required by The Finnish Traffic Insurance Act. This insurance covers medical care for injuries to the driver and the passenger arising from accidents.

Personal injuries and damages to third parties are fully covered according to The Finnish Traffic Insurance Act. Snowmobile safari participants are held liable for damages caused to snowmobiles
hired to them. The personal liability (excess) is a maximum of 900 € per snowmobile and per accident.
We reserve the right to change the routing and duration of all excursions or cancel trips if necessary according to the prevailing weather and snow conditions, or if recommended for the safety and comfort of the participants.
