Explore reindeer (and sami handicrafts), Inari

Come and be a guest in the home of an Inari local, where you will get a real sense of what it´s like to live in the far north.
Ous hostess, Tuula, lives in a remote location by Lake Muddusjärvi with her reindeer.

This activity will take place outside - because of corona virus.
Tuula will first introduce the friendly herd of reindeer, before you get up close to feed them.
This reindeer also wants to be photographed.
Find out about the history of her home, how different life is today.

How to get there

1. From Inari village 3 km to the North along road E75
2. Turn left to Angelintie road (Riutula / Angeli on the west side of road E75)
3. Drive along Angelintie road approx. 12 km and turn right to Tulvalahti dirt road
4. Turn right (to north side of Riutula road)
5. Drive along this small road 1,2 km
6. Open the gate from the reindeer fence and go to the other side of the fence and close it
7. Keep driving approx. 1,3 km.
