Husky hike
Our kennel is at the doorstep of Urho Kekkonen National park. Here we have the cleanest air and nature. The hike goes through beautiful forest, over hills to a nice little lake, where we stop for snacks and maby for a nice swim, too.
The huskies have a special designed back bags to carry our snacks. You are connected to husky with a belt and leach.
During this hike you will learn quite bit about Lapish nature, culture, mythology and of course about huskies. Pleace notice that a hike with huskies is more intensive than a walk in the park. We have 2-4 huskies with us, so you can take turns to walk with a husky.
After the hike we will have a guided tour around the husky camp and a snuggle time with puppies.
This tour does not require a fitness level but you should be in good health condition. The walk (5 km) will start from the kennel and continues in the forest and hills. During the tour, we will take a break and serve you a cold or warm beverage, depending on the weather, & some cookies.
